Allocation: $25,970,480.00

The City of Dallas received ARRA formula and competitive funding to provide weatherization and minor repair assistance in targeted areas of the City, with some emphasis placed on assisting senior citizens. A portion of these funds will also be used to implement the City of Dallas’ Green Building Ordinance which became effective October 1, 2009. Funds have also been allocated to support the repair and upgrade of some city facilities. These energy saving repairs will allow the City to save money in the long term.
