Office of Cultural Affairs - City Cultural Facilities The City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs is the custodian of many of our community’s most important cultural facilities, where a wide variety of arts and cultural programs are offered for citizens and visitors. The Office of Cultural Affairs operates five of these facilities directly (Meyerson Symphony Center, Bath House Cultural Center, Latino Cultural Center, South Dallas Cultural Center and Juanita Craft Civil Rights House) while others are managed through private/public partnerships with nonprofit cultural organizations, like the Dallas Museum of Art, African American Museum and Fair Park Music Hall. The City of Dallas Park & Recreation Department oversees the Dallas Zoo and Dallas Arboretum, also important components of the City of Dallas cultural system.
