How To Volunteer with the City of Dallas

ServiceWorks!, the City of Dallas Volunteer Program, is a collaboration of the Volunteer Center of North Texas and the City of Dallas that provides the citizens of Dallas with an opportunity to become an integral part of the Dallas – the City That Works!

The program places volunteers as support team members in many of the city departments where a Volunteer Coordinator supervises the volunteers’ efforts in that department. Volunteer opportunities can be as varied as office work, landscaping, customer service, research and community ambassadors.

• Visit www.vcnt.org and click on Volunteer Now and search projects for City of Dallas or go to www.volunteermatch.org for ServiceWorks! volunteer opportunities.
• Sign up to receive a monthly email list of volunteer opportunities by emailing serviceworks@vcnt.org.
