Mayor Mike Rawlings: Dallas Optimism is no urban myth

Happy New Year!

As the New Year is underway, this is the perfect time to reflect on the things that made Dallas great in 2011. From the opening of the Omni Convention Center Hotel, the Dallas Mavericks winning the NBA championship, to our continuing economic growth, Dallas has many things to boast about. This article published by the Dallas Morning News details some of the many things we have to look forward to and helps illuminate why a great sense of optimism here in Dallas is well deserved. This will mark the first of monthly updates that I will be sending out. Your involvement and knowledge of the goings-on of our City is very important and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
