Current Planning - Zoning Verification Letters

The Department of Sustainable Development and Construction will provide a letter stating the current zoning on any parcel within the City of Dallas along with a copy of a portion of the zoning map showing the location of the property and a copy of the regulations for that zoning district from Chapter 51A, the Dallas Development Code, of the Dallas City Code.

Letters of Zoning Verification are usually processed in 7 to 10 working days from receipt of the request.  A fee of $90 must be paid prior to acceptance of a request for a verification letter.  An additional $20 fee may be paid in order to expedite the process to 2-3 working days from receipt of the request
