Swimming Pools

The City of Dallas regulates and inspects commercial pools, health club pools, hotel/motel pools and institutional pools.

Pool inspectors check for storage of chemicals, chemical balance, water clarity, safety equipment, required signage, and depth markings. Properties with pools are required to post a current pool permit and current manager of pool operations certificate.

Training will be provided throughout the year for certification of the manager of pool operations. Please contact swimming pool inspections at (214) 670-8083 for information on classes.
